Red Sky at Morning is a sweeping oil painting inspired by the drama of Alaskan skies and sea. With Mount Edgecumbe rising above the Sitka Sound, the rich pinks, violets, and blues evoke the famous maritime adage: "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning."
